back.
i'm home, drenched in this horrid humidity, unfortunately.
still adjusting, still adapting, still in a half-antisocial mood. still trying to withstand the humidity, the constant nagging, the missing silence.
everything's still very much the same, except myself. it's like things here came to a standstill while i was gone.
Anyhow, i'm back for good (i hope not) I have this urge to fly away again, i guess you call it the post-exchange withdrawal symptom which OIR has kindly compiled a manual for both students and their parents to read. (my mum said it's crap though)
my luggage flew back 2 days later, what a scare. I thought the 2 furla handbags in it were going to do a disappearing act, and so would the bulk of my shopping and the chocs.
how i wish i was back in Milan celebrating with those fabiolous italians. I can so imagine them honking away, painting the town in reds, greens and whites, yelling, flaring, dancing, jumping, singing, rioting and the whole week is declared a national holiday week. surprise, surprise as usual. Who would have rooted for italy to win? FORZA ITALIA!

before i touched down, i was wandering around the streets of Amsterdam for a few hours checking out the whores, the lovely Dutch buildings, wondering who Rembrandt was and getting faint at the sight of H&M at every corner, coupled with the monthly girl crampy problem. Wish i had more time though, but Europe beckons not anytime soon.
i miss my usual dosage of paninis, aka high carbo diets. just bought lettuce, and will probably make my own salads soon. and probably resume my bread olive oil dipping habits. yay.
